Monique Ramioul (Master in Sociology) is research director, head of sector Work and Organisation at the Higher Institute for Labour Studies (HIVA-K.U.Leuven). Her main research topics concern the information society, organisational innovation and labour market issues. From November 2001 on, she is the co-ordinator of STILE, a multi-annual project with 8 European partners within the Fifth Framework Programme of the IST programme and Eurostat. This project focuses on new methods and indicators to monitor the labour market in the eeconomy. Other European projects and networks, where she is involved in are EMERGENCE and the EESUN network. Further, she is one of the core partners in the PASO Flanders project (Panel Survey on Organisations), an economy-wide organisations panel research on organisational innovation and Human Resources Management.
