Peter Ester is professor of Sociology at Tilburg University and director of OSA, Institute for Labour Studies. Professor Ester has over twenty years of experience with cross-national comparative research. He published more than thirty books and some hundred scientific articles and book chapters. Presently he is expert member of the Dutch Social and Economic Council, the main advisory board on labour issues to the Dutch government.
