Francesca della Ratta, graduated in Sociology at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", she has achieved the PhD in Methodology of Social and Political Sciences in 2000. Since 1994 she has worked in the field of the social research, both with University and research Institutes (IRES, ISF, ISFOL). Particularly she has been involved in research on female work, new form of employment (teleworking, flexible work), quality of labour. She was involved in National and European research project: Now (Women and Trade unions), Telework (Adapt II). In 2000 she has worked at ISTAT (National Institute of Statistic) in a monthly survey on wage, employment, labour cost of work of manual and non manual workers in large enterprises.
During the PhD she is specialized in methodology of the social research, with particular reference to the construction of survey tools (questionnaires, interviews) and to the integration among qualitative and quantitative methods.
